About Cashminers:

Cashminers is a dynamic and genre-blending up and coming music group or movement that burst onto the music scene in the early 2015s previously known as “Ladysmith Cash Miners”. Found and formed in a small studio “SME” located in the city Johannesburg by three close friends with a shared passion for music.

 

Comprising vocalist, guitarist, producer and songwriter Elkay Macburner; vocalist, songwriter AB-MAT; and songwriter, vocalist Mzwa, Cashminers draw their inspiration from a wide range of musical genres, including Kwaito, afro house, amapiano, and pitori music.
